My name is Jolene Hayes. I am originally from San Jose, California. I have been her my whole life, living with my Mom. I don't have much experience with gardening, other than a small garden my Mom and I had three years ago, at her friends farm. Her friend grew lots of vegetables, but I wasn't really involved in it. Mom would go to the garden plot and bring home carrots, tomatoes, peppers, squash, and some other foods.
My Name is Cassandra Barba and I lived in Los Banos,California my whole life, I moved to San Jose not so long ago. I haven´t gardened but i have helped my mom pick the plants and water the plants. My grandpa knows a lot about planting he helped my mom when she was planting.  My grandpa plant flowers lemon tree, and avacodos in his backyard.
My name is Stephanie Salmon. I used to live in San Francisco, until I was 3. When i was 3 I move to San Jose. I used to garden with my neighbor when i was younger. I sometimes will plant flowers during the summer, but most of the time they end up dying. I think that after this project I will have learned more about gardening, and maybe grow some of my own food in the future.
My name is Ana Lopez . I am from San Jose California. I've lived here my entire life. I have never gardened or grown my own food before.  I have never gardened, but I have heard a couple of family members talking about gardening when they were younger. My grandma and aunt from mexico would talk about planting corn and things like that when they were kids. The two people were my grandma and aunt. They are really close family to me. I think that after this project I will be able to know the main things about plants. Also I could be able to learn the way that are better to grow different types of plants. I hope I learn many new things.
My name is Sophia Andrakin. I have lived in San Jose my whole life. I have grown fruits and vegetables before, but they would die before they lived to be fully grow.                                     Even though I cant keep a plant alive my grandma and grandpa can. My grandma and grandpa live in Oregon. They love to grow lettuces, tomatoes, and  cucumbers. My grandma and grandpa are 2 very important people to me. I would like to learn how to keep the plants alive for a long period of time so I could share something in common with them. I would also want to have the knowledge that I can sustain a healthy garden without it dying.
